The founding team shares a passion to expand peoples’ horizons and to show them the many different faces of China they are in love with. Sure, it is amazing to stand in Lujiazui/Shanghai and gaze up the huge skyscrapers, or to see the terracotta warriors in Xian and walk on the Great Wall north of Beijing.
And yes, those places are often crowded and sometimes very hazy. Having lived and worked in Beijing or Shanghai, we love those cities, but always venture out in search of other places that have let us to discover an incredible diversity and beauty.

The true magic of China lies in embracing its entire story – the food, the people, and unique places- and yes, stories, as those are a big part of China’s culture! We believe in showing people unique places and landscapes that are difficult to travel to on your own, encountering different people and learning their stories and dreams.

Sustainability is close to our hearts, as we have seen too many places be destroyed by tourism. We strive to support small local communities and the environment, and custom design small group travel with local guides with minimal impact. We believe the best way of getting to know the world is getting out there, taking a walk or hike, sitting down in a local restaurant, with someone who really makes you see what is around you.
